The crew diligently assemble the rig mat frame and use a specialized technique for deep penetrating welds. You need to see the high quality of their welds to realize the level of appreciation we have for them. We have established solid relationships with select lumber mills and developed our own distinct high quality grade or standard for our Spruce/Pine/Fir (SPF) wood inserts. We take this rough lumber and run it through our own saw for further processing and inspection. The wood surface of our rig mats is flush or slightly higher than the top of the steel frame. This will help protect the rig mat frame from damage and prolong the life of our product.
