About Sahara


Since 1978, Sahara has grown to specialize in providing a diverse range of sandblasting and painting services to industries such as: Oil and Gas, Construction, Chemical Processing Facilities, Pulp and Paper and Power and Utilities. Sahara also serves residential and commercial customers with a focus on surface enhancement, abrasive cleaning, and architectural finishing.


Industry-Leading Turnaround Times


Our goal has always been to put our customers first, accommodating their specific needs with quality work and industry leading turnaround times. Our 30,000 sq. ft. of environmentally controlled shop space on eight acres of land and fleet of mobile units, allows us to handle our customer's diverse requirements. Moving forward, our vision is to modernize and expand, growing our services and facilities to accommodate our customers varied needs.


Safe Work Environments


One of the cornerstones in the foundation of Sahara is that of providing a safe work environment for our employees and contractors. This has been done by partnering with the ACSA (Alberta Construction Safety Association) and by obtaining our COR (Certificate of Recognition). Sahara's commitment tot quality and innovation is demonstrated by our NACE inspectors. Our on staff inspectors ensure that our quality meets our customers specifications and that Sahara is abreast of the latest technology and products.


As the industry evolves, Sahara remains focused on educating and advancing our employees through training and new product education. We also strive to promote new environmental products that will soften the impact we have on the environment.
